LENTEN AND HOLY WEEK PROGRAMME -2025
Ash Wednesday -This week we begin the Season of Lent. ASH WEDNESDAY (5th of February) is a day of Fasting and Abstinence. All the three Holy Masses scheduled on that day (7am, 9am & 7pm) will include the Rite of Ashes, which is a symbol of Repentance, Conversion and Spiritual Renewal.
Please take into account that the 9am Holy Mass will be attended by the whole St Jerome’s Primary School.
Every Friday of Lent – 7pm Stations of the Cross followed by Holy Mass
Lenten Reflections – Lenten Program in preparation for Easter( reflection’s of Sunday Readings). Commencing 6th March 2025.
7pm in the Resource Room from 7.30 to 8.30PM
Lenten Healing and Deliverance Retreat – 29th March 2025(Saturday) from 9.30 to 1.30pm @ St. Jerome’s (Praise & Worship- Word of God – Holy Mass- Adoration- Healing prayers.
Sunday – 13th April Palm Sunday
Wednesday 16th April 2025 – 6pm – 8pm St Jerome’s Parish First Rite of Reconciliation

Holy Thursday – 17th March 2025 7pm (No morning Mass) Celebration of the Lord’s Supper and washing of the feet. Watching and Praying at the altar of repose until midnight – Fr Barry Whitely Parish Hall
Good Friday – 18th March (A day of fasting & abstinence) 6am Silent Adoration starts 10am Stations of the Cross (Outdoors) 3pm Solemn Liturgy of the Passion
Holy Saturday – 19th March Church opens at 6am for silent prayer 10am-12pm First Rite Reconciliation 7PM – SOLEMN EASTER VIGIL – Blessing of fire & water
Easter Sunday – 20th March Usual Sunday Mass Times (8am, 10am & 6pm)
Easter Monday – 21st April 8.30am Somascan Young Adults Rosary walk at Coogee beach
